Dussehra Celebrations – 2017

Dussehra is always a grand affair at Satven. This year the celebrations were even better and the colourful Satven team danced their way till late in the evening, even during rain!

The buzz, the aplomb and the grandeur were nothing less than that of a ‘Big Fat Indian Wedding’.

Satven lobby and the canteen were decorated in a breath taking manner by teams of women associates. The rangoli designs, the floral decorations, fixing the balloons, and different textures created by using fruits and cloth, lent variety to the entire decorations.

The associates were asked to dress in a specific colour on each day leading up to Navami (the 9th day of Dussehra). The decorations at the lobby and the ethnic clothes the associates wore on each day, matched with the particular colour code of the day.
All that beauty and joy was captured in pictures for posterity.
On day of Ashtami (the 8th day of the affair), a group of talented associates showcased dandiya and garba on the terrace; and as already said, they danced their way into the late evening despite of rain!
There was ramp walk by the associates in ethnic attire, and the awards for the walkers with best attire, were given away by our CEO, Mr Rao S Vadlamudi.
Mr. Rao S. Vadlamudi was present with his wife Mrs Subha Rao and daughter Ms Sruti, who joyfully danced to the DJ’s music at the end of the show.

What made the event extra special was that family members of Satvenites also attended it.

The admin, corporate services and other teams of Satven did a lovely job in putting up a great show on the day. Our leaders Dr. AM Rao, Ms. Aradhana Rewatkar, and Mr. Shiva Koka with the involvement of various teams made the whole event lively despite inclement weather.
