The International Transportation Electrification Conference (ITEC) was held in India for the first time in August 2015 in Chennai. Previous conferences in the US, China and Italy saw overwhelming responses. ITEC is an enabler to move the conventional mobility industry towards electrified sustainable mobility.

Satven had the privilege of putting up a stall at this show, which was visited by several distinguished dignitaries.

ITEC INDIA 2015 focused on all aspects of electric transportation including components, systems, standards and grid interface technologies, related to efficient power conversion for all types of electrified transportation including Electric Vehicles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (EVs, HEVs & PHEVs) as well as heavy duty, rail and off road vehicles, airplanes and ships.

This three-day (August 27 – 29, 2015) conference that was held at the Le Royal Meridien (Chennai) was jointly organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAEINDIA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Industry Applications Society.
