Holi Festival 2016 Rangoli Competition
Holi the festival of colours was celebrated differently this year at Satven. To mark the celebration Rangoli competition was organized for the female associates who were helped by the male associates.
- Associates came up with different concepts which were a visual treat to Satvenites.
- Later spot competitions were held on the office terrace and the winners were presented with prizes.

OBL Program
An Outbound Leadership program was organized for the Business Heads, Project Managers and few other Key Associates during the Annual Business Plan Meeting on 20th February 2016 at Deccan Trails, Vikarabad.
The outbound program was aimed at enabling the participants to understand critical elements of Leadership & Team Building.
The key take away from the various exercises & games was to inculcate key skills like time management, decision making, conflict management, goal setting and most importantly to understand the importance of cross functional collaboration.
An OBL would not be complete without a Trek and the team did just that. The entire team gathered early before day break to catch the lovely sunrise and then took off into the forest, climbing down a steep hill side. Plenty of excitement along the way and the team was fortunate to have spotted few wild boars and deers and heard few roars of other wild animals before returning to the camp for more activities.

Women’s Day Celebration
Satven celebrated International Women’s Day in the month of March both in Hyderabad and Chennai locations. Women associates had participated with great fervour and once again come up with brilliant display of their commendable talents. The highlight of the celebrations was the participation of the graceful spouses of the men at work in Satven.

Health & Wellness: Vitamin D Test
An awareness session on Vitamin D was organised on 22 January 2016 at Satven, Hyderabad. Noted Endocrinologist Dr. Sreedevi from Apollo Hospital briefed the associates on the importance of Vitamin D in human body, the risks in case there is an imbalance. This was followed by Vitamin D Diagnostic Tests for our associates.

- A three day session on ‘’Leadership and Strategic Horizon’’ was conducted on 22 – 24 February 2016, at Palm Exotica, Shankarpalli, for our Business Leaders and few other Key Associates. This was facilitated by ‘Change School’, London.

Blood Donation Camp
- Blood donation camp was organized in SP Infocity Chennai on 5 February 2016 in collaboration with RED CROSS BLOOD BANK.
- 40 donors had donated their blood for the noble cause.

- In our last Team of the Quarter celebration 39 teams across Hyderabad & Chennai were felicitated. The occasion was graced by the Top Management and Business Development Managers from across the globe.

Continuous Health Education at Satven
As part of the healthcare endeavor of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Dr Reddy’s Foundation for Health Education (DRFHE) has been roped in to offer interesting talks and interactive awareness sessions by medical professionals on cancer, diabetes, communicable & non-communicable diseases, lifestyle diseases, cardiovascular diseases and so on.
This series is billed “Continuous Health Education”. As part of this initiative a session on “Kidney Awareness” was organized on the 21st of August 2015 at Satven. Dr. Rajiv M, Consultant Nephrologist from Sunshine Hospitals was the speaker on the occasion.
Associates learned the following important actions/points when it comes to caring for their kidneys:
- Take care of your weight
- Exercise regularly
- Quit smoking
- Restrict alcohol intake
- Restrict salt and meat
- If you have hypertension or diabetes, control it with medication as suggested by your physician
- Screen yourself if you are a hypertensive or diabetic patient for more than 5 years to ensure your kidney is performing as it should
- Heart Diseases session on the 19th of March 2015 by Dr. Kalpesh, Cardiologist
- Cancer awareness session on the 19th of May 2015 by Dr. Rama Mohan Reddy, Oncologist, Omega hospitals

Health camp at Satven
A health camp was organized by Satven early in September 2015 for associates and their dependents in Hyderabad. Around 375 associates and their family members availed themselves of this benefit.
