World Environment Day was celebrated on 3rd June, 2016 in collaboration with Green Peace. Green Peace volunteers had set up a booth in the office premises and conducted activities to help spread the awareness of the environment and the effects of pollution and the measures to control pollution.

Satven organized a summer water camp on the busy SP Road in Secunderabad to quench the thirst of commuters in the scorching heat of April month.

The camp was inaugurated by one of our Japanese OEM representatives.

Awareness session on “STROKE” was conducted at Satven Hyderabad by Dr. Nilesh Vijay Choudhary, Neuro Physician, from Care Hospital on 20th April 2016.

World No Tobacco day was observed on the 31st May 2016.

Awareness session was conducted by spreading messages and posters about the life threatening dangers of consuming tobacco.

Health session on Managing Cholesterol was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Reddy’s Lab. Dr. Kalpesh, Cardiologist from Yashoda Hospital had conducted the awareness session on 24th May 2016 for the benefit of Satven associates.

Holi the festival of colours was celebrated differently this year at Satven. To mark the celebration Rangoli competition was organized for the female associates who were helped by the male associates.

Associates came up with different concepts which were a visual treat to Satvenites.

Later spot competitions were held on the office terrace and the winners were presented with prizes.

An Outbound Leadership program was organized for the Business Heads, Project Managers and few other Key Associates during the Annual Business Plan Meeting on 20th February 2016 at Deccan Trails, Vikarabad. The outbound program was aimed at enabling the participants to understand critical elements of Leadership & Team Building.

The key take away from the various exercises & games was to inculcate key skills like time management, decision making, conflict management, goal setting and most importantly to understand the importance of cross functional collaboration.

An OBL would not be complete without a Trek and the team did just that. The entire team gathered early before day break to catch the lovely sunrise and then took off into the forest, climbing down a steep hill side. Plenty of excitement along the way and the team was fortunate to have spotted few wild boars and deers and heard few roars of other wild animals before returning to the camp for more activities.

Satven celebrated International Women’s Day in the month of March both in Hyderabad and Chennai locations. Women associates had participated with great fervour and once again come up with brilliant display of their commendable talents. The highlight of the celebrations was the participation of the graceful spouses of the men at work in Satven.

An awareness session on Vitamin D was organised on 22 January 2016 at Satven, Hyderabad. Noted Endocrinologist Dr. Sreedevi from Apollo Hospital briefed the associates on the importance of Vitamin D in human body, the risks in case there is an imbalance. This was followed by Vitamin D Diagnostic Tests for our associates.

A three day session on ‘’Leadership and Strategic Horizon’’ was conducted on 22 – 24 February 2016, at Palm Exotica, Shankarpalli, for our Business Leaders and few other Key Associates. This was facilitated by ‘Change School’, London.

This was a great learning experience for all the participants.
