      Job Description:

      • The Client is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of Body Control features across advanced vehicle programs. This role focuses on customer-facing systems including access, security, closures, lighting, and comfort functions, ensuring robust requirements definition, system design, integration, and validation. You will act as the technical focal point for Body Control features, working cross-functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, and OEM stakeholders to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Define, decompose, and manage Body Control feature requirements, ensuring full traceability across system, software, and hardware levels
      • Should have good Power train/EV-Drive train domain knowledge
      • Well versed with all CAE validations related to EV-Drive train analysis
      • Develop feature specifications, functional and system requirements, use cases, and interface definitions
      • Support system architecture development, trade-off studies, and technical decision-making
      • Lead or contribute to key feature areas including:
        • Access & Security: keyless entry, PEPS, digital key, immobilizer and alarm systems
        • Closures Systems: power doors, tailgates, windows, sunroof systems and safety features
        • Lighting Systems: interior, exterior, ambient and signature lighting
        • Comfort & Convenience: seats, mirrors, personalization and user profile features
        • Body Electronics: BCMs, sensors, actuators and vehicle status monitoring
      • Define and manage system interfaces across body, security, lighting, infotainment and connectivity systems (ICDs)
      • Support integration, verification, and validation activities, including DVP planning, vehicle integration, and defect resolution
      • Contribute to acceptance testing, program gateway reviews, and technical risk management
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, vehicle integration, cybersecurity, and suppliers.

      Requirements:

      Key Requirements:

      • Degree in Electrical, Systems, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline
      • ~5+ years’ experience in automotive systems engineering
      • Proven experience delivering body electronics or vehicle feature systems
      • Strong expertise in requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, and validation
      • Good understanding of vehicle E/E architectures, body control systems, and networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
      • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434

      Tools & Knowledge (desirable):

      • Experience with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, CANoe/CANalyzer
      • Exposure to MBSE, SysML, or Agile methodologies
      • Knowledge of diagnostics (UDS, DoIP), functional safety, and cybersecurity
