        Job Description:

        • In this role, the candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to design, develop, and update complex system features. He/She will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into robust SysML models, ensuring the architectural integrity of our products from concept to implementation.
        • Develop, maintain, and enhance system architecture models using SysML in a MagicDraw environment.
        • Collaborate with System, Subsystem, and Feature Owners to gather, analyze, and formalize requirements.
        • Architect system features and functions across multiple levels of abstraction, including conceptual, logical, and implementation views.
          • Architecture Boundary Diagrams
          • Block Definition and Internal Block Diagrams
          • Use Case, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams
          • State Machine Diagrams
        • Lead and participate in technical design meetings, peer reviews, and formal deep dives to present models, validate designs, and drive consensus.
        • Ensure model integrity, resolve errors, and support the generation of reports and documentation from the system model.

        Skill set:

        • SysML- MAGICDRAW Modeling

        Domain Knowledge:

        Required Qualifications:

        • A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
        • Expert-level proficiency in SysML and extensive hands-on experience authoring complex system models in MagicDraw (or Cameo Systems Modeler).
        • Proven experience in automotive systems engineering, with a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical system interactions.
        • Demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder needs into formal, SysML/UML-based requirements.
        • Experience in using refactoring techniques to create and manage reusable model libraries and engineering assets.
        • Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a variety of audiences and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
        • Experience conducting DFMEAs at the system and component level and familiarity with related Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) tools.
        • Hands-on experience with simulation and control system modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
        • Familiarity with both Agile and V-Model software/system development methodologies.
        • OMG-Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) certification.
