      Job Description:

      • Looking for a skilled and motivated CAE Engineer with expertise in FE modelling, Structural Durability and crash analysis for automotive components. The ideal candidate should have solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Generate and refine FE models while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
      • Work on pre-processing activities for structural and explicit ls dyna environments for occupant safety systems.
      • Conduct quality checks on meshes and ensure adherence to best practices.
      • Understand and implement meshing methodologies to improve model efficiency.
      • Interpret mechanical drawings and apply engineering knowledge in meshing activities.
      • Document meshing processes and results for project reporting.

      Required Skills & Qualifications:

        Product knowledge of Automotive occupant safety systems(Airbags (Majorly ) & Seat belts); Experience on ¿Airbag Meshing, folding, deployment studies, test correlations, Seat belts structural integrity ; Experience on System and sub- system level simulations; Proficiency in PAM Crash, Sim- Fold, LS-Dyna, HyperMesh, - Experience of working in Airbags is preferred.

      • 2 to 8 years of experience in Airbag related FEM skils listed above.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
      • Good experience in CAE meshing and modeling, particularly using HyperMesh.
      • Knowledge of ls dyna deck updates with the meshed model.
      • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and FE modeling.
      • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Exposure to automotive, aerospace, or industrial domain CAE projects.
      • Basic knowledge of scripting in HyperMesh (TCL) is an advantage.
      • Experience with linear and nonlinear analysis workflows.
