        Job Description:

        • Contribute to defining and maintaining vehicle-level architectures, particularly focusing on how structural and E/E physical architectures are represented and managed within the digital product definition.
        • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Design, Advanced Engineering, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to ensure seamless integration of various vehicle systems and components, focusing on structural and packaging considerations.
        • Perform package studies to ensure compatibility of designs with other vehicle systems and identify/resolve interference conditions within the digital structure.
        • Optimize designs for key attributes such as function, cost, weight, performance, thermal management, and manufacturability through analytical and physical assessments, translated into digital models.
        • Identify and resolve challenges related to CAD data transformation, variant management, and system integration.
        • Provide technical guidance on architectural matters related to product structure, supporting the selection of appropriate design solutions within the digital environment.

        Skill set:

        • Vehicle Architecture Engineer with CATIA & 3DX

        Domain Knowledge:

        • Experience in handling positional variabilities in CAD models for effective variant management.
        • Knowledge of vehicle coordinate systems (VCS, VSS, etc.) and their application in CAD.
        • Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and its implications for CAD design and product structure.
        • Proficiency in managing and compiling complex variant data, ideally using Microsoft Excel.
        • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and diagnostic tools as they relate to E/E packaging and physical integration within the CAD environment.
        • Knowledge of functional safety concepts (e.g., ISO 26262) as they pertain to physical component integration and architectural impact.
        • Previous experience in Electric Vehicles (BEV/HEV) or Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) architecture, particularly related to their physical integration and structural implications.
