What types of information do we process?
This Privacy Statement covers any Job Application Data you submit to Satyam Venture, such as:
• Name, address, email address, telephone number, or other contact information.
• Information contained in your CV or cover letter, such as previous work experience, education, or other information you provide for our consideration.
• Type of employment sought, desired salary, willingness to relocate, or other job preferences.
• Data from online assessments (e.g. personality tests, cognitive ability tests) and video interviews (if applicable).
• Names and contact information for referrals. It is your responsibility to obtain consent from references before providing their personal information to us.
We collect personal data directly from you or from our external partners, e.g. external recruitment agencies.
We can also obtain information from professional social networks, such as LinkedIn, job boards such as Naukri.com or Monster, and from other publicly accessible sources (only information relevant to your professional life) for the purposes of actively approaching you with job offers or for the purpose of confirming the accuracy of the information presented by you within the course of the application.
For the avoidance of doubt, Satven does not wish to receive any confidential or proprietary (or patented) information which you have received from your previous employers.
Use of Personal Data
Your personal data may be used for following purposes:
• To assess your application for the job offered and to communicate with you within the recruitment process.
• To contact you in case of an alternative career opportunity within Satven.
• Based on your consent to ask you about your experience within the recruitment process.
• Based on your consent to send you personalized information on current open job postings.
<strong>Who may access your data? </strong>
Only select employees of Satven – such as your potential future manager(s), employees of the Human Resources Department, and IT (for maintenance purposes only), shall have access to your Job Application Data.
Satven is a global organization, with businesses, legal entities, IT systems, management structures and processes that cross borders. Job Application Data may be shared with other branches/subsidiaries in other jurisdictions, for employment consideration purposes. Satven will not supply any data to any third party other than those identified above without your express authorization
Legal Basis of Processing
When we obtain information from your public profile on professional social networks, such as LinkedIn, we base this processing on our legitimate interest to build a decision base in order to establish an employment relationship with you. The legal basis is Article 6 f) GDPR in conjunction with Article 9 (2) e) GDPR.
When we invite you to participate in a survey on your satisfaction with the application process at Satven the relevant legal basis is your consent in conjunction with Article 7 GDPR.
Furthermore, we may process personal data about you where this is necessary to defend ourselves against legal claims arising from the application process that are brought against us. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (1) b and f) GDPR.
