JOB SCOPE
- This position is responsible for the design of complex new electronic products to support customer needs and new business opportunities.
- This position is responsible for the coordination of electrical part of product during the development phase
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design and develop electrical schematics (digital and analog) related to development of complex new products.
- Develop complex models and product prototypes.
- Design and conduct testing activities; record, analyze and interpret test results.
- Plan and manage engineering projects with multiple technical components.
- Develop budgets and staffing projections related to engineering projects.
- Perform technical evaluations of new business opportunities in support of sales and marketing staff.
- Provide technical direction and serve as point of contact for manufacturing, engineering, and other personnel.
- Conduct customer presentations related to new product development and/or product modifications and enhancements.
- Research solutions to complex technical problems and recommend cost effective resolution approaches.
- Implement other tasks assigned by superior to meet superior’s expectation
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):
- Advanced mathematical skills, including the use of logarithms and quadratic equations.
- Advanced computer skills, including the use of simulation software.
- Expert understanding of electronic design and electronic circuitry technology assembly processes.
- Thorough understanding of hardware and software design.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing quality tools.
- Advanced management skills, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, and project management.
- Advanced verbal communication skills, including group presentation.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, customers, and employees.
- Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.
- Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 6-10 years related experience.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
