    Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

    • Deliver hybrid system analysis to progress the development of HEV powertrains
    • Develop techniques to analyze hybrid powertrain system energy management
    • Deliver compiled HEV powertrain files to support vehicle level fuel economy and performance analysis
    • Collaborate with powertrain design groups to support durability and thermal design processes via analysis of hybrid powertrain operation on specific customer use cases
    • Perform model correlation and validation of HEV virtual vehicle model applications with prototype test data
    • Interface with the Big Data teams to achieve automation of required data collection, analysis, and reporting for model correlation
    • Develop new technologies, methodologies, and tool chains to support the build and commissioning of electrified virtual vehicles
    • Work with the HEV powertrain control teams and calibration teams to develop required tool sets to support model-based development, model based calibration, and smart desktop calibration efforts

    Essential Skills:

    • Thermal analyses using model simulation packages such as: Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Autonomie, Modelica, Dymola, Mode Frontier

    Experience Required:

    • Having minimum 3 yrs of experience in HEV powertrain files to support vehicle level fuel economy and performance analysis

    Experience Preferred:

    • Document developed tools and methods for the proliferation of advanced model development and model based calibration techniques


    • BE/ME/MS in Mechanical / Automobile / Thermal Engineering
